CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Yoga for Self Love: This unique and inspiring hatah class combines classic yoga poses with rejuvenating breath work and affirmations for self love, appreciation and compassion. You will be gently guided to release tension from your body, stress from your mind and reconnect to your Heart throughout the class. The emphasis of this class is the cultivation of a loving relationship with yourself and the letting go of all that no longer serves You. This is class is suitable for all levels and all are welcome.

Hatha Flow ~ A sweet mix of strength and softening, this yoga class is suitable for all levels. Deepen your body mindfulness and explore the depths of your practice in a supportive and playful setting.

Candlelit Restorative ~ A gentle yoga experience made of supported postures using props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps and walls. Poses are held for several minutes and each one designed to have you melting sweetly into a deep meditation, leaving you nourished, centred and well rested.

Yoga for flexibility ~ One of the benefits to practicing yoga is increasing mobility by creating greater flexibility through the joints and muscles. In this class we will release stiffness and tension by inviting breath throughout the body. Expect gentle flows, meditation as well as a safe approach to some of the more challenging asanas.

Core Pilates
This class focuses on the abs and core. You will increase your flexibility, stability, and coordination all while training the most important muscles in your body. Transform, strengthen, and tone your stomach and abs, increase lower back strength, and eliminate pain.

Gentle Hatha:
designed for all ages and levels. Moving and deepening with the breath, practitioners will be encouraged to listen to their bodies and find stability and ease in each pose. These classes emphasize proper alignment, strengthening the core, increasing mobility in the joints and breathing techniques for energizing, calming and balance. This class moves slowly from the ground up and leaves you feeling rested and rejuvenated

Osho Active Meditation
Many meditative techniques require one to sit still and be silent. But for most of us accumulated stress in our bodymind makes that difficult. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of our tensions.
Osho Active Meditations have been scientifically designed by Osho over a period of time to enable us to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions, and learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way.
We will be exploring an awareness practice through a dynamic style of meditation each week, guided by music and a mini lecture. These active meditations act like an energetic shower, softly shaking you free of your tensions and leaving you refreshed!
Each class will include a 5-10 minute tea break, followed by an Osho audio/video recorded lecture and dance as meditation and celebration!
Wear comfortable clothes, feel free to bring a meditation cushion/chair, water and a snack.
