Our Teachers
Kristen Corvers
An eternal student, Kristen takes inspiration for her yoga classes from her lifelong work as a dancer and actor, as well as from the surrounding environment-music, architecture, mythology, the natural and the seemingly supernatural, and of course, her great many teachers. Having coped with asthma since childhood, she believes yoga is therapy for body and mind and can be utilized in ways that are as unique as individuals. Whatever really makes you feel better, that’s your medicine. Kristen is trained in the Hatha/Vinyasa style with an emphasis on Ashtanga and Restorative practices.
Ultimately I am here to serve. My wish is to facilitate the journeys of my students toward their own discoveries of healing, understanding and peace. –Namaste
Bronwyn facilitates a space where students can approach their yoga practice with curiosity, compassion and courage. Weaving philosophy and creativity into each class, she intends to empower her students on and off the mat. She completed her teachers training at Kula Annex and is grateful for her teachers Lawrence-Jacob Milman and Christi-an Slomka. Off the mat, Bronwyn delights in her love of painting and design. Natalia Ria
I first encountered Yoga when I was looking for a way to find more balance in my life. After quitting my corporate job 6 years ago, I embarked on a journey to India. There, for the first time, I got acquainted with various wellness disciplines, including Yoga. I fell in love with Yoga after my very first class. Although I did not understand a lot of the concepts in the beginning, I did manage to walk away with a sense of ease and renewal after every class. That was enough to keep me coming back. With time, Yoga became my tool to centre and reconnect to myself on a regular basis and played a monumental role in keeping me grounded throughout the rough rides of my life.
I completed my teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Quebec in 2007 and was inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. It is my intent to inspire my students to let go and let be on and off the mat, while facilitating personal change, healing and empowerment.
Natalia Ria is a practitioner of the Emotional Freedom Techmique, Energy Medicine and a facilitator of Yoga and Meditation. To learn more about Natalia visit www.thesoulhut.com
